Title Estimating Coordinator

Position Overview

Reporting to the Chief Estimator, the Estimating Coordinator will be assisting with sourcing tender opportunities while supporting the estimating team during tender preparation and submission, as well as coordinating related contract administration and procurement functions for awarded projects.

Key Responsibilities

​​​​​Perform a wide variety of estimating related administrative functions:
Tender Sourcing
Prepare submission for RFI’s, RFQ’s, RFP’s, Tender calls
Appropriately distribute documentation upon project award
Assist in procurement activities
Maintain Project Sheets / Resumes / Company Experience data
Substantial Performance / Completion administration
Departmental reporting
Departmental project file maintenance
Mail / courier activities
Maintain Owner specifications database
Support Post Project Analysis and Project Reconciliation activities
Invoice requisitions as required
Presentations
Support Project Tracking / Forecasting
Subcontractor Agreements
Assist in accrual reporting for active projects
Various project data analysis and reporting
Collect and formulate key data relating to estimating performance
Perform other duties and responsibilities as required

Required Knowledge &Skills

Relevant post secondary education or 1-3 years related work experience
Estimating experience in the construction industry an asset
Strong computer skills – MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
Sound computer skills – MS Project, Visio, SharePoint, Acrobat Writer
Strong communicator – verbal and written
​Self motivated with effective multi-tasking skillsWork well in a team environment
Ability to work accurately under pressure
Construction related experience an asset
Valid driver’s license
